Karen's Absence

As many of you may know, Karen Villa Schweinfurth has been caring for her terminally ill husband for the last nine months as he has endured end stage liver disease.  Unfortunately, he appears to be in his final days on earth now.

To those of you that know Karen, she wanted me to let you know that she is not ignoring you.  Her energies are, of course, devoted to her family at this time.

Karen, our thoughts are with you and your family.

Hi Caleb, Thanks so much for the info. I knew Karen has been caring for her husband. Her strength has been an inspiration for me. We forget sometimes that our members have serious life issues just like everybody else. They are and will continue to be in my prayers. Karen is an amazing women.

My thoughts are with Karen and her family as they try to deal with the issues at hand.  I know that her being the caregiver for her husband is taking a toll on her.  My thoughts goes out to her as she continue to cherish the good times and memories of her husband.  Keep STRONG KAREN!!

I don't know Karen, but having lost my mother and my grandfather in the last year and a half, I do know what a very difficult time she must be going through.  My thoughts and prayers are with Karen and her family, and many wishes for extra strength for her.
